The company founders, Iain Flockhart and Nick Garside, have logged over 300,000 nautical miles as Captains in all the world’s oceans and popular cruising areas. They are both versatile and flexible and are well known for their ability to integrate well with crews and attain a high level of respect from them. Both have extensive experience on both private and charter vessels.
Our aim is to provide our clients with a cost effective service of relief and delivery captains within the 20m to 50m range of vessels. We are specialising in this size of vessel as this is the range in which we have most experience and we can therefore assure our clients that we are operating within our level of greatest experience.
We will provide you with captains that are extremely professional, have integrity and who work to the highest standards of safety at all times. We (Iain and Nick) do much of the work ourselves, but when we use other Captains, they have an MCA Master (Yachts) STCW 95 Certificate of Competence as a minimum quallification. Any other captains that we use are hand picked on the basis of their specific experience within the scope of the vessels we work with.
